Euphrasia joined Achungo in 3rd grade after her parents died in an accident when she was six years old.
Before Achungo, food was inconsistent. She was often sent home from public school because fees were unpaid. She now lives with an aunt who provides little emotional or financial support.
At Achungo, she encountered something different — structure, nourishment, mentorship, and high expectations.
She once wrote:
“I had never imagined that I could study in one of the best schools in the county.”
With access to textbooks, exam preparation, and teachers who intervened early when she struggled, she flourished academically.
She has now graduated from Vanessa Grant Girls High School and hopes to become a physiologist, studying how the human body functions.
From instability
To ambition.
Her story reflects the dignity that education restores.
You can help open doors for another student who has never imagined what might be possible.
